Kerela Banana Fry

Ingredients for Kerala Banana Fry:
  
                                                  
Unripe Bananas 1 or 2, chopped onions, silt green chilies, curry leaves and coriander leaves , Mustard seeds, urad dal, and Bengal gram for seasoning in 2 tsp of cooking oil  and salt as per requirement.



Step 1:
Chop the bananas knit 2 inch pieces and cook in boiling water until soft but not soppy.





Step 2 : Drain the water and keep aside for a minute to cool.





Step 3: Peel the black skin to get fresh yellow inner part.



Step 4: Mash the bananas and keep it aside.


Step 5: Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds to splutter, add Urad dal and Bengal dal and fry.




Step 6: Add slit green chilies and fry 1/2 a minute. 





Step 7 : Add finely chopped onions and saute for a minute.


Step 8: Time to add mashed banana and fry well to absorb the flavors.




Step 9: For a better taste cook it with a little  water sprinkled on the mixture for about 2 minutes. 




Kerala Banana fry ready to savor  goes as great a compliment with poori, chapati  or a side dish with rice.
